I made this pattern, “Ascension,” piece of my Forest Spirit painting. This section of painting is similar to that used in my Ring of Angels pattern, but is slightly different, which gives Ascension a different feel. From there, I play with the digital file until I create something I’m happy with.
You can see the process I use by checking out Creating Patterns. Since this piece was created from a physical painting, I keep the hard edges of the spiraled pieces in place as a nod to the original format.
