The header for my painting Kaleidescape.


This pattern, “Kaleidescape,” was born from my painting Birth of Stars. I started by choosing a small, square portion of the painting, as shown below:

I made this square into a larger, seamless pattern like this:

Then since the expanded pattern felt too repetitive, I altered it to this:

Just as with all of my works I do see images hidden in this piece. Look closely!
