When I first blew the ink for what became “Birth of Stars,” I again forced myself to sit with the results for a while. I’m trying to ensure that I don’t always run with the first idea that comes to mind. However, this haunting figure demanded my attention. I decided that I didn’t necessarily see this being as evil, which might be the natural assumption, and decided to portray it as something more magical. Whether I succeed or not is up to you!
