I made this pattern, “Hypnotic Bouquet,” by tiling my Spiral Bouquet pattern, which I made using a small piece of my Birth of Stars painting. I love the way that tiling a spiral pattern brings a whole new dimension to my work, creating new forms through the intersections and interplay. Since this piece was created from a physical painting, I keep the hard edges of the spiraled pieces in place as a nod to the original format.
