Spiral Bouquet

 

This pattern was born from my painting Birth of Stars. As I tend to do with patterns, I started by choosing a small, square portion of the painting, as shown below:

If you’ve looked at my other works, you’ll notice that this is the same pattern I used for Kaleidescape. However, this time instead of laying it out in a linear fashion, I created a spiral:

As usual, I’ve left in the hard edges from the rectangular piece as a nod to the original format. I didn’t quite like that look, so from there I played with alterations until I chose this resulting image:
