I made this pattern, “Winter Vine Starburst,” by tiling my Winter Vines pattern, which is a color alteration of my Ring of Angels piece. Ring of Angels was in turn made using a small piece of my Forest Spirit original painting.
Since this work was created from a physical painting, I keep the hard edges of the spiraled pieces in place as a nod to the original format.
